Lactobacillus rhamnosus CGMCC1.3724
This strain was tested in a 24-week trial with obese women following a weight loss diet. The probiotic group lost significantly more weight than the placebo group. Notably, the probiotic group also maintained their weight loss better during a follow-up weight maintenance phase. Choosing an Evidence-Based Probiotic

Strain identification. The product should list the exact strain, including the strain designation (such as B420 or CGMCC1.3724). Products that only list the species name (such as Lactobacillus gasseri) without the strain number do not allow you to verify the research.

Dose transparency. The dose should match what was used in clinical studies. For B420, the effective daily dose was 10 billion CFU. Taking less may not produce the studied effect.
